Hey people, I'm currently working on a new blogskin in light of the upcoming open house. I think it will make leaps and bounds in improvement since I recently got Flash installed. With luck, I can match it with our theme for open house.

Meeting Updates
5:50 PM
NOTE TO SEC 3s! I was being an idiot in the last post. The jacket colours are black and gold. How royal.
This information is gathered from yesterday's meeting.
Camp Students-in-ChargeEDIT: CHECK THE MOST UPDATED POST.Camp ItineraryEDIT: CHECK THE MOST UPDATED POST.We'd also be preparing one mini performance within our assigned groups throughout the duration of camp, based on what we will be learning during drama training. You will be given time to work on your pieces, so don't worry.
We will be trained by our dear Mama Tang for Poetry Slam. I'm very excited about it too! Poetry Slam includes working with rap, songs, movement and good old characterisation. We will most probably be using Roald Dahl's ridiculous poems. Some of us may rememberhim as the authour of Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, BFG and James and the Giant Peach.
NOTE: Food WILL BE ITALIANO/WESTERN! YEAH BABY! Mamma mia.
Games will be fun and engaging theatre sports games.

End-of-the-world camp and awesome jackets.
11:02 PM
OH MY GOOD CHEESE SAUSAGE BLOGGER IS WORKING LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO. FINALLY!
Anyway, I'm sorry for the delay in posting the jacket design for the secondary 3s up. My bad.

Ok credits to Ridzuan. Initially, there were 2 small peace signs in the design but I took it out. Why? Because it's anti-Christ. A lot of people don't know that. You can google it.
P.S. It's
ELDDS and not KPDT on the jacket because we're the last batch of people from the CCA when KPDT was called ELDDS. Oh and btw the
jacket is yellow.P.S.S. I don't know what the 'vintage' thing means on the design. Miss Tang likes it though.
You can discuss with the rest of the sec 3s if you don't like the design.SO in case the handphone sms did not reach your brain, the
end-of-year camp is from the 30th of November to the 2nd of December.Natalie out!

History
We are the
Drama group from
Kranji Secondary School,
K Productions Drama Team (KPDT). We started off as
Kranji’s
English Literary Drama and Debate Society (ELDDS) in 2002 but merged with the school’s
AVA/PA Club in
2008 to form
K Productions. Now, we are known as K Productions Drama Team while the AVA/PA Club is known as K
Productions Technical Team. We have over 50 members from Secondary One to Four and we are trained every week by a
professional trainer,
Mr Fita Helmi and our very own school teacher,
Ms Geraldine Tang, who is a Speech and
Drama teacher.
Aims & Objectives
Our aim is to provide our members with an all-rounded education in theatre skills.
K Productions Drama Team provides a holistic approach to Drama education. Not only do we train the students
on
acting, we ensure that our members are exposed to
all aspects of theatre, including
script writing and
even
production management. Our club members also learn about
lighting and sound, essential elements
needed for a possible and successful performance. Students are also taught to
direct their own plays.
For example, during our recent October double-bill, the play Over The Wall was directed by our very own
K Productions Drama Team member who was
guided by our trainer. Our students are strongly
encouraged to
create their own play which allows them to
stretch their creativity and leadership to the maximum and most
importantly,
work as a team. Through excursions and annual camps, we expose our students to different
components of drama. Our CCA also hopes to create an opportunity for our pupils to relax and engage one
another in a
creative English speaking environment. We are always on the look out for students
passionate
about the Arts.
